Blanket Drive at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Sunday, November 18th from 1pm to 3pm. Please bring two pieces of fleece that are 2 yards each. One solid and one with a pattern. This is a great project and the blankets are donated to the Iowa City Stead Family Children’s Hospital. For more information contact Julie Messerich.


Spring Play Tryouts will be December 18-20 see Ms. Sauer for a time on one of those three days.

Kirkwood College rep. will be here during SOAR on Monday, November 26th.

Mrs. Schaller will be available for conferences on Monday, November 19 but due to extenuating circumstances will not be available on Tuesday, November 20. Please plan accordingly. Please know you can always call or email and set up additional conferences as needed on an individual basis. Thank you for your understanding.

Mrs. Knutsen will be in Miles for conferences on Monday, November 19th and in Preston on Tuesday, November 20th.

THESPIANS: Calling all Thespians. Please bring $1.10 to Ms. Sauer or pick up a mason jar and bring one to her room BEFORE Thanksgiving! We will be decorating our mason jars for the Festival of Trees. We will be decorating the jars on November 26 and 27 during Seminar! If you have questions, talk to Mason or Ms. Sauer.

Need a snack? Have a sweet tooth? Ms. Sauer has some SLIGHTLY used display candy from the Musical: Willy Wonka! $0.25-$1 stop in and get some in Room 20 (between classes or during seminar ONLY)

Have a partner or small-group project you need to work on but your peers are in a different SOAR group? Want to talk with Mrs. Wood about your classes or visit a college recruiter when they are here? Online Drivers Permit test: If you are 14 years old or older, you will be able to sign up for your drivers permit test. To take the test you will need to fill out a sign-up sheet that will be on the school Website. You will be able to take this test during seminar. You will only be able to take the test 1 time a day.
