Musical Cast and Crew turn in your size for your shirts to Ms. Sauer before October 25.

Musical Crew please check with Ms. Sauer on when you need to start coming to practice.

Speech Shirt money is $12 for S-XL sizes and $14 for larger sizes. Money is due November 30 to Ms. Sauer.

Thespian Jackets will be ordered at the end of November as well, if you are ordering one it is $28 for S-XL sizes and $30 for larger sizes. Money is due by November 30 to Ms. Sauer.

Spanish Club meeting Wednesday night 18th of October in Mrs. Schaller’s room during SOAR. We will continue working on ordering food from a restaurant.

Do you love animals? Are interested in dog training? Then stop by for an awesome opportunity to work with Kirby and Lobo as Mrs. Schaller demonstrates and instructs basic dog obedience and positive reinforcement. You MUST REQUEST Mrs. Schaller for this Friday, October 20th to be a part of the fun and learning. First come first serve basis so get your request in today.

Jr. High Girls Basketball Week 1 Practice Schedule

Monday, Oct. 23- NO Practice

Tuesday, Oct. 24: Team Meeting & Open Gym 3:30-4:30

Wednesday, Oct 25: Practice 1:30-3:30 (Early Out)

Thursday, Oct 26: Practice 3:30-5:00

Friday, Oct 27: Practice 6:30-7:40 AM

There will be no 8th grade TAG on Monday and no Chess Club on Tuesday. I will be out of the district. We will resume the following week. -Mrs. Knutsen

Jostens will be here on October 17 to meet with Seniors during SOAR on Graduation orders. Payment or money down will be due on October 27.

Looking for volunteers to film home varsity basketball games to stream it live into the concessions area. You can receive service learning hours for your time and will get free admission to the game. Contact Erick Broome or Nate Bormann if you are interested.

Any High School Junior interested in applying for the Hoover Uncommon Student Award up to $6500, see Mrs. Collister.

PICTURE RETAKES: Picture retakes will be Wednesday, October 25. Lifetouch will start at the elementary at 8:30 and then come to the high school around 10:30.

Any high school student interested in attending the Iowa Youth Institute Monday, April 30th with the chance of winning a $500 scholarship to Iowa State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, need to speak with Mrs. Collister for more details!!!! Deadline to apply is February 7, 2018.

Hey Students: ClickHERE to access the SOAR Request Form. This form allows you to request help or extended learning opportunities from any of your teachers during the SOAR time. Be as specific as possible on the form when requesting your teacher so they know what you are wanting to come to them for. Student requests must be made no later than 11:30 am if you wish to work with a teacher that day. You can request for a future date anytime.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Iowa will be hosting the Davenport Polar Plunge on Saturday, October 28th at West Lake Park Beach. Polar Plunges are held to help raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Iowa athletes and sports programs. For every 25 students (high school or college) that register and raise the minimum $75 each, a $500 scholarship will be awarded. Stop by the office to pick up a registration form if you are interested.

Activity passes are available in the HS office. Household passes are $150 and single passes are $75. Senior citizen passes are also available at no charge.
