Hello Easton Valley Families,

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend! As the holiday began winding down I know many of you saw information being released that may have raised many questions regarding Easton Valley's distance learning plan. Hopefully I can clear a few things up and alleviate any anxiety the information may have caused.

Like all of you, we are embarking on a new approach to teaching and learning. Throughout the remainder of the school closure we will be doing our very best to deliver learning experiences to all PreK - 12 Easton Valley students. As you can imagine, this is quite a big undertaking. We also know that this may be a bit overwhelming out of the gates for many of our students and families. For that reason, we want you to know that we are going into this endeavor knowing that it is not going to be perfect the first week. For example, after an incredible effort to prepare our plan last week we just finished tying up loose ends over the weekend. We know that rolling something out on Sunday evening is not ideal for anyone, but we wanted to get the information in your hands so that we can all start making progress tomorrow together.

Please read over the ELEMENTARY FAQ DOC and/or the JH/HS FAQ DOC when you have a chance and do your very best to help your child engage in these new learning experiences to the best of their ability. Remember, these are not required. They are simply encouraged in order to help all EV students continue their learning throughout the remainder of the school closure. I know that our teachers will be working very hard to offer meaningful learning experiences. I hope that you all find them worthwhile and do your best to take advantage of this new approach to education.

Thanks for you understanding and patience as we overcome this unique situation.
