The River Hawks play @ Turkey Valley tonight. The game starts at 7PM. Our cheer squad is performing tonight as well. The band has their second marching competition tomorrow at Clinton. Also, please cheer on our Varsity Volleyball team as they continue their conference tourney on Saturday at East Buc. Our cross-country team runs Thursday @ Iowa City Regina for their state qualifying meet.

Groups for JH/HS Large Group Speech have been posted on the board by Ms. Sauer's room stop in with your group to find times for practices.

Congratulations to the JH students who participated in the 1st Annual Punt, Pass, Kick Contest Homecoming Friday!! Despite the cold, they stuck it out and impressed us all! 1st Place: Gavin Kramer; 2nd Place: Emma Beck; 3rd Place: Kory Devereaux

PAC 4 Kids is selling EV Tervis cups! There is an order form in the office if you would like to order or find an elementary student! You can order a coffee mug, water bottle or other size cups. Money is due at the time of order and checks can be made out to PAC 4 kids. If you have any questions please email Jen Bormann at jen.bormann@eastonvalleycsd.com.

Any Sophomore interested in representing EV at the HOBY conference, please see Mrs. Wood. The Conference is in Des Moines at Drake June 19-21st.

Picture Retake Day will be Thursday, October 31st.

Iowa Central College will be here Oct 31 at 2:30 to talk to anybody interested in trap shooting at the collegiate level. Please sign up with Mrs. Wood if you would like to hear what they have to offer.

9-12 Students: Just a reminder that the Sabula-Miles VFW is sponsoring the Voice of Democracy Scholarship Competition and you are encouraged to submit an entry! This is the scholarship Mrs. Recker shared with you in history class and both Mrs. Recker & Mrs. Collister are happy to help you with it. Click here if you need more information. Driver’s Ed: Winter session of driver’s education at Northeast will begin Saturday, January 4th and runs through Monday, February 8th. If you are interested in this session, please pick up a registration form in the office.
