Hello Easton Valley Community!
As you may know, our baseball and softball seasons are beginning on Monday, June 1st. Games will then begin June 15th. Because of the pandemic and the safety concerns surrounding our summer sports, we wanted to share with you a list of information that you may find helpful and that you will NEED to know if you have a child participating or you plan to attend any events.
- Social distancing will be required for all spectators. - Bleachers will be roped off and not available to sit it.
- If dropping off your child for practice, parents are asked to not get out of their car.
- Spectators are not allowed at practices.
- There will be NO concessions. This includes beverages. Plan accordingly.
- Shared coolers in the dugout are not permitted.
- Temperature checks are required before every practice; we are asking athletes to do this prior to arriving at the field but coaches will have temperature guns at the field also. This will be recorded on a spreadsheet by the coach.
- Temperature checks will be done by the coach prior to every game.
- Buses are allowing 13 athletes. We will take multiple buses if needed.
- Transportation permission slips will be available for athletes to be able to travel to games with a parent.
- Athletes are recommended to carry hand sanitizer at all times.
- Coaches will be sanitizing shared equipment before/after every practice and game.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Broome at any time. There may be more information released at a later date.
We are very excited to be able to give our athletes, coaches, and community the opportunity to participate and spectate the summer season! In these trying times, we finally get to see some "normal" come back into our lives.
Take care,
Erick Broome

As we continue to evaluate our current situation, here is some information about Service Learning hours that the school board and administrators have decided upon.
Seniors will have all service learning hours forgiven for this year.
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors that have uncompleted hours that still need to be turned in for this year, are allowed to roll them over into the next school year. Any completed hours for these three grades that have already been turned in, will be counted for this school year.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to evaluate different areas as we near the end of this school year. We hope that everyone is keeping safe and staying healthy.

Hopefully you are looking forward to some great weather tomorrow! Enjoy tonight’s story.

Dear Easton Valley Families,
We hope that everyone is making the most of this trying time and you are able to find some joy each day. We have been so thankful for all of the staff and community members who have made our lunch program successful in the past two and a half weeks. Unfortunately, we knew the time would come that we would need to re-evaluate our ability to continue to provide meals safely to our students. The safety of our staff, students, and our communities is our number one priority even though we are not in session.
We have come to the difficult decision that we need to put our meal program on hold for the next few weeks when we will re-evaluate our ability to provide this service. We do not want any child to go hungry during this time! If your family is struggling and in need of assistance, please email any teacher at the elementary or high school, Mrs. Schmidt or Mr. Johnson and we will coordinate with our local partners to assist you with food needs.
Friday, April 3, 2020 will be our last meal drop off/pick up time until we re-evaluate. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for assistance. We are here to help. Enjoy the time with your family and we can’t wait to see everyone back at school!
Sincerely,
Easton Valley Administration
