ATTENTION STUDENTS GOING TO WATCH THE STATE TOURNAMENT: A reminder from the state that two things required when you attend a game are that you must wear shoes and you must wear a shirt. BODY PAINT IS NOT CONSIDERED A SHIRT AND YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED IF WEARING BODY PAINT AND NO SHIRT!

Reminder: Sophomores will be taking the District ACT on Tuesday, March 30th, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Hall. Sophomores should report to the church hall between 7:45 am-8:10 am and must bring with them a photo ID & pencils (not mechanical ones), and may also bring an approved calculator, water, and a small snack to eat during the break. (Click here to find out if your calculator is approved) Your cell phone and/or smartwatches must be left in your vehicle/locker or checked in when registering, as they cannot be accessed until after testing is complete. Watch the announcements in the near future for information about completing your test pre-registration steps.

We will be having a student pep rally for the boys basketball team on Friday. Students will report to the gym after they report to their SOAR teacher. The rally will start at 2:45pm. Once the rally is over, HS students will be free to go and JH students will report back to their SOAR classrooms. There will not be any SOAR detentions for tardies this Friday. Service Learning Opportunity: Need workers for the Athletic Boosters fish fry fundraiser for the basketball boys going to state this Friday, March 5th from 5:00-9:00 in the high school commons. Contact Erick Broome or Rhonda Hartung if interested.

Service Learning Opportunity: The Preston Cemetery Board is looking for 2-3 students that could clean up the cemetery. The dates are March 24th and September 15th for 2021. A member of the board can meet them there at 3:45 to help them and show them the type of things to remove. If interested, contact Marie Rossmann @ 563-689-6715.

Students: Please use the SOAR requesting form, located here, to meet with your teachers at SOAR time to get questions answered, work made up, work with your partner on a group project, etc. Teachers will also be using a similar form to request students and students will be notified in their email if they have been requested. You must report to your SOAR each day, and at 2:45pm, you will head off to the classroom where you've requested where you will remain until 3:15pm.
