After years under Mr. Johnson, Easton Valley has made a pivot as we learn the new rules, guidelines, and expectations given by Principal Krusey. Growing up in Aplington, Iowa, Mr. Krusey’s biggest role models were his parents. He appreciated their work ethic and willingness to help others. As a kid, Mr. Krusey had liked the idea of being a pilot, but instead pursued education instead.

Mr. Krusey’s first teaching job was in Traer, Iowa, at North Tama High School. In the last three years, before coming to Easton Valley, he also taught special education at Davenport West. When asked what he looked forward to most this school year, he said that it’s seeing the progress of students’ evolutions as well as providing as many opportunities as he can.

The three things Mr. Krusey is most passionate about are growth, helping others in any way that he can, and providing direction to anybody who may need it. If there is one thing that he wants every student of Easton Valley to know, it’s that he cares. His door is always open no matter what and strives to make our school a better place for everybody.
