Article Title: Quiz Bowl Champs Go For Gold

On November 4th, the High School Quiz Bowl team performed well at the Iowa Open Eastern at Western Dubuque in Epworth, qualifying for both State and Nationals. The team is comprised of Tyson Tubbs, Nizhonia Schmidt, and Tyler and Lucas Kunde. Jenny Knutsen is the advisor of the young varsity team.
When asked what makes your team better than the rest, Tyson Tubbs said, “We all just know what we’re doing, we all work together, and know a lot of information.” High School State Quiz Bowl will be on March 30th in Waukee and Nationals will be taking place on the 26th of April in Rosemont, IL.
