Free All Community Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by Trenkamp Electric will be Thursday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Miles Presbyterian Church. Carryout or delivery only. Monetary donations may be dropped off at any Clinton National Bank location or mailed to: Trenkamp Electric, PO Box 184, Miles, IA 52064. Free delivery will be available to Sabula, Miles, Preston, & surrounding areas. Call 563-689-4187 by 11/21 to schedule a delivery. Easton Valley has made gains with its facilities since 2013, but it still lacks proper extracurricular space. This reality is holding students back from reaching their full potential.

The $12 million bond issue that Easton Valley voters will consider on November 7 would provide the school district with an opportunity to address some of its facility challenges.
If approved, it would allow for construction of a new fieldhouse and renovation of the existing high school gymnasium to transform it into a performance venue.

There are two community meetings TONIGHT where you can learn more about the proposed $12 million bond issue for the Easton Valley Community School District.
The first session is at Easton Valley Elementary at 5:30pm. The second begins at 7:30pm at Sebula City Hall.
We invite you to attend either session to ask questions and find out more about the district’s space challenges and the proposed solution.

Friday Mrs. Keller’s Introduction to Business class went on a walking field trip to Jackie’s Ice Cream. The students asked great questions about starting, owning, and operating a small business, and as an added bonus got to enjoy some ice cream.
In-person absentee voting is now available for Easton Valley Community School District residents. This can be completed at your County Auditor’s Office through November 6.
