Hello EV families,
It was great to see so many of you at our “Unpack the Backpack" event last night. If you weren't able to attend the materials will be sent home the 1st day of school.
Classroom schedules were shared when students unpacked. You will notice the schedule has an A day column and a B day column. This will allow us to have an every other day approach to specials like music, PE, Art, etc. With this new approach being tried in the elementary building, we will still teach the core subjects daily and specials will rotate based on the A/B schedule. In the event of no school due to weather the day we missed will be the following day. For example, if Monday is a A day and we would miss, due to weather or any other school cancelation, Tuesday would become an A day. We recognize that this may be a little challenging to keep track of but the staff in the building are going to help students keep track of what day we are on and what specials they will have each day.
If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher or call the main office.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday! Have a great weekend.
Looking forward to seeing our elementary students and families at our Unpack the Backpack Night from 4 - 6 pm this evening.
