Riverhawk NHS member Delaney Bormann is kicking off her individual service project this weekend! At the Preston Parade of Trees she will be displaying a “Giving Tree”. The decorations on the tree will be paper ornaments that have items the Victory Center in Clinton, Iowa is in need of. People that are willing to donate a few items can take an ornament off of the tree and purchase the items on it. These items can be dropped off my at her home (442 West DeGroat St. Preston, IA) or Easton Valley High School. Thank you in advance for all of your support!

We are excited to announce: Easton Valley students are partnering with CLuB hOpe in Maquoketa on aToys for Tots Drive next Friday. We will have a drop off in front of BOTH high schools from 8:00AM to 3PM for the community to donate a toy or cash to purchase a toy for a child in need in Jackson County. Last year Toys for Tots helped over 800 Kids in our county last year!!

Riverhawk NHS Chapter Homemade Pie Sales! Chapter members will again be preparing & baking cherry, apple, & pumpkin pies this year, just in time for the holidays! Orders can be placed with any NHS member or by contacting NHS adviser Gabrielle Recker at the high school. Orders will be taken until Wed, Nov 20th & must be paid for at the time of the order. All funds raised go to support our Chapter Scholarship Fund. If you have clothing in good condition just taking up space, bring it up to the high school & Calli will donate it to Operation New View in Maquoketa. Clothing in any size- infant to adult- will be accepted. This clothing drive will go until Nov. 29. Thanks for your support & great job, Calli!
