Here is the schedule of events for our June Session of LEAP! Summer Adventure kids will join LEAP Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

State Champs!!! Congratulations to our girls golf team who won the 1A Iowa girls state championship! They shot a 2 day team total of 690 to successfully defend their state title! Addie Fier and Hadley Farrell were medalist at 9th and 10th place. Congratulations to all of the girls and coaches!

Attached is preliminary information on next years back to school night "unpack the backpack" event. Please put it on your calendars now and we will follow up with more specific details when that time gets closer!

Thank you to Kevin and Jana Behr for donating to both our girls and boys golf teams on behalf of the Alex Behr Memorial! Thank you for your support and good luck to our golf teams at state this week!

In addition to the more than $10,000 raised for our district at the Miles Truck and Tractor this past weekend, we were also able to add our Dan Marburger Memorial bench to the front of our building. A big thank you to Jesse, Brandon and the rest of the Miles Pull team for all of their efforts and donations, Matt Shannon for pouring the cement pad for the bench, and Elizabeth Marburger and family for their significant donations towards the bench. We have so many great people in this district and from this area and have a lot of things to be grateful for!

Congrats to the EV girl's golf team! With a team score of 360, they have punched their ticket to the state tournament! Their 1st place finish at Little Bear on Wednesday, advances them to American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown to defend their state title on May 29-30. EV individual medalists included Addie Fier 5th with an 89 and Sadie Roling runner up with an 83. Congrats ladies and good luck at state! Congratulations to the Girls Golf team who are headed back to the state tournament! EV won their regional with a team score of 360. They advance to the state tournament 5/29 and 5/30 in Marshalltown.

State track shirts are in. Please bring your money to the HS office to get your shirts if you haven’t paid yet.

Service Learning Opportunities: Preston Legion Auxiliary is looking for volunteers to help with flags and crosses at the Preston Cemetery Friday, May 23rd. Meet at the cemetery at 4:00 p.m. On Memorial Day Monday, May 26th, they also need volunteers to take everything down. Volunteer at the Miles Truck & Tractor Pull on Sunday, May 25th from 9:00-1:00 or 1:00-5:00 or Monday, May 26th at 9:00 a.m. to help with clean-up.
