This afternoon, Easton Valley's ISTEP team shared an important message while handing out popcorn to students as they left school. Each popcorn bag included messages about the dangers of vaping and the importance of staying vape-free. 💬🚭

🚨 Easton Valley FFA members had a great day in Ames at the Iowa Cattlemen’s Beef Scholarship Extravaganza, placing 2nd overall out of 18 teams! Team members Alia Schmidt, Kelsie Thompson, and Charlie Lane were tasked with completing 10 stations that tested them on their knowledge, understanding, and application of various aspects of the beef industry.
The stations included:
-Health & Handling
-Nutrition
-Marketing
-Seedstock Merchandising
-Keep/Cull Heifers
-Job Interviews
-Industry Issues
-Reproduction
-Credit & Finance
-Beef Management Challenge
With a 2nd place finish comes ~$1330 in scholarships for each team member, made possible by the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association.
