This past weekend, three students represented Easton Valley at the BPA (Business Professionals of America) State Conference in Des Moines. They competed in several events, including Interviewing Skills, Prepared Speech, and Parliamentary Procedure Concepts.

Do you know an uncommon high school junior who would like the opportunity to earn $11,500 to further his/her education? The goal of the Uncommon Student Award (USA) is to challenge young Iowans to be uncommon as it relates to Herbert Hoover’s values and ideals. Applicants are evaluated on standards other than grades, test scores, and financial need. The students propose and complete service projects of their own choosing and should be something with which they are passionate. We’ll choose 15 of those applicants, who will spend the summer working on their projects and present their results in November. Each will earn a $1,500 award! Four will each earn a $10,000 scholarship to the school of their choice! Applications are due by April 1. Learn more at www.UncommonStudent.org

Ms. Diemer took students caroling on Friday. They sang for about 30 minutes, and then the students passed out the elementary valentines that had been made and greeted the folks there. They were super appreciative and want us back any time!
The Easton Valley School District will be having a two hour delay on Tuesday, February 18 due to extremely cold temperatures.

Easton Valley CSD will be having a two hour late start on Thursday, February 13. We will reevaluate conditions in the morning and will send another update around 8 AM if anything changes.
Due to the winter storm warning scheduled for tomorrow, Easton Valley Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
