Thank you to Lawrence Van Hook NSDAR for providing the JH/HS Library with these fiction and non-fiction books. These books tell the stories of our country's journey for independence through the lives of people of color and/or women. These are the lesser-known stories based on those who rose to the call of freedom at the beginning of our country's struggle for independence.
Emma Beck took it upon herself to raise money for a scholarship in the names of Addy Jepsen and Chandler Betts. Over the weekend she raised over $500. We are so proud of you!
