Our 5th graders finished their Renaissance unit in ELA with a fun, hands-on activity. Students colored puzzles featuring eight different Renaissance figures and wrote important facts about each person on the back of the pieces.
To wrap things up, they traded puzzles, put them together, and read the facts to learn even more. It was a great way to review, get creative, and celebrate all they learned!

Please join us on Tuesday evening for our school academic family night.
Please join us on Tuesday evening for our school academic family night.

First grade students learned about Early American civilizations. They made maize, chinampas, llamas and headdresses, and colored pictures of an eagle and serpent. To share what they learned, the students set up a classroom museum and presented their work to staff members. It was a great way to celebrate their learning!

Congratulations to Senior Rylie Gillen in completing her commitment to the National Guard last weekend! Such an inspiring and strong leader!

We’ve noticed some confusion from a recent post on a Jackson County Scanner facebook post. To clarify, our school was not involved in a child leaving school grounds during the school day. In fact, the child was at home when they wandered away, and our caring and dedicated staff assisted the family in ensuring the child's safety. Like they say, "it takes a village"...and sometimes that means families, deputies, and a school team. We are grateful to be a part of a community that looks out for one another. GREAT TO BE EV!
