Preschool got a fun visit from two baby goats today! Thank you to Everett's family for bringing them in!

Our 5th grade classroom is excited to welcome Ms. Kuhl twice a month on Wednesdays for a special time we call Wellness Wednesday. During these visits, Ms. Kuhl leads fun and meaningful activities that help us learn about emotional regulation, healthy habits, and building strong friendships.
Today’s lesson was called “What’s in Your Cup?” Ms. Kuhl talked with us about how our feelings and experiences can sometimes fill up our “cups.” If we keep too many negative things inside—like stress, worries, or frustration—they can spill out in ways we don’t want.
As part of the activity, each student wrote down things they would like to “spill” out of their cups. This helped us think about the feelings or problems we want to let go of and talk about healthier ways to handle them.
At the end of the lesson, Ms. Kuhl surprised everyone by gifting each student a cup of their choice. The cups will remind us to pay attention to what we’re putting in our cups and to take care of our emotional wellness.
We’re already looking forward to Ms. Kuhl’s next Wellness Wednesday visit!
