For the first time, Easton Valley students represented us at the BPA Fall Conference this past Sunday and Monday—and they did an incredible job! Kendyl took first place in the "Dress to Impress" Neck Tie Competition! 👔👏 The group also had a blast in the Junior Achievement competition, where they bought and sold stocks. Today, we had a special guest speaker, Ryland Richards, the Park Manager of Maquoketa Caves! Ryland shared insights into his job, park management, and the unique responsibilities of running such an amazing natural space. 🏞️
And, of course, he didn't come alone! He brought along a surprise guest 🐍 that some students couldn’t get enough of, while others kept a safe distance! 😄 A big thanks to Ryland for giving us a memorable experience in the classroom!
